GeoBlue Voyager

GeoBlue sells Voyager as a straightforward single-trip plan rather than a menu of add-ons: pick a medical maximum, pick a deductible, and the plan covers accident and sickness abroad from day one. Because GeoBlue operates through the Blue Cross Blue Shield Global Core network, claims at many international hospitals get billed directly rather than requiring the traveler to pay up front and file for reimbursement later, which matters a lot when a hospital wants payment before treatment.
Pre-existing conditions aren't covered, and there's no adventure sports rider, so travelers doing anything beyond ordinary tourism should look elsewhere. Where Voyager stands out is age eligibility: coverage runs from age one through 95, well past where many single-trip plans stop selling new policies outright. Evacuation and repatriation are included as standard benefits, not an upgrade, coordinated through GeoBlue's own 24/7 assistance center rather than a third party.
