GeoBlue Xplorer

Where Voyager is meant to expire, Xplorer is meant to renew. It covers routine and emergency care for expats, missionaries, and long-term contractors based in one country or moving between a few, with two tiers (Xplorer Essential and Xplorer Premier) that differ mainly in deductible size and outpatient benefit depth. Both keep the direct-billing arrangements GeoBlue is known for at hospitals across its Global Core network, so a serious hospitalization doesn't automatically mean paying cash up front.
Pre-existing conditions aren't covered on either tier, which is worth flagging clearly since it's the main thing that pushes some expats toward a fully underwritten plan like Cigna Global instead. Xplorer includes evacuation and repatriation as standard, and because it's the same underlying insurer as the shorter Voyager plan, someone who starts on a short trip and later decides to stay can often transition between the two products with the paperwork already on file.
