Now Health's WorldCare plans give expats a choice of area of cover, worldwide, worldwide excluding the US, or a regional option, which keeps premiums lower for someone based in Asia or Europe who has no plans to seek treatment stateside. Coverage includes inpatient care as standard with outpatient, maternity, and dental available as add-ons, a similar modular structure to some of its larger competitors, and claims can be settled through direct billing at network hospitals in most major expat hubs.
Pre-existing conditions go through individual underwriting, and travelers should confirm US coverage specifically before assuming it's included, since several of Now Health's plans are priced and structured to exclude US-based treatment. That makes it a better match for an American expat settled in, say, Singapore or Lisbon and not expecting to need coverage back home than for someone splitting time between the US and abroad. The company has picked up a number of industry service awards over the years, a reasonable secondary signal alongside checking its underwriter's financial rating directly.
